Edinburgh Stop AIDS Mexico HUB

Attention All Societies:

Thursday 6th of November, Edinburgh stop AIDS is organising an all day conference/Mexico Hub on HIV/AIDS.

The HUB will cover 4 of the topics covered in Mexico, including:

  • 0930-1100. Gender and its role in HIV transmission and treatment – speaker from Queen Margaret’s University TBC
  • 1130-1300  Meeting the Prevention Needs of People, Living with HIV/AIDS. Dr Gordon Scott
  • 1400-1530  HIV and co-infection (Tuberculosis), Dr Katerine Coyne
  • 1600-1730  Universal access to HIV treatment lead by Katy Athersuch (Stop AIDS Campaign Coordinator) and Diarmaid McDonald.

The HUb is taking place within the Edinburgh Medical school and you are welcome to one or all of the sessions. If you are interested and would like some more information or to register please get in contact with iacsedinburgh@googlemail.com
