For those of you checking this space for updates about Oxford’s World AIDS Week 2007, this is a friendly reminder that TONIGHT (Wednesday) is our BIG benefit concert to raise money for our 2 World AIDS Week charities, so we *really* hope to see you - and all your friends - there!!
We have about 10 awesome performers lined up, including salsa, gumboot, and bollywood dancers,
some of your favorite a capella groups, a professional samba band, The Donut Kings and top-notch
singers… It’s going to be a *great* evening!
The fun begins at 7:30 pm and lasts til 10:30 pm at the East Oxford Community Centre, 44b Princes
Street (OX4 1DD), just off Cowley Road across from the Blockbuster. For a map of the Centre’s location,
see http://www.multimap.com/maps/?&hloc=GB|OX41DD.
Entry is only £2, with yummy drinks and snacks also for sale throughout the evening…
Looking forward to seeing you all there! Bring your friends along with you, too

As a reminder about our charities, this year the World AIDS Week Coalition is supporting two worthy
organizations:
Milana is a network based in Bangalore, India providing counseling, nutritional, educational and
economic support and home-based care to people living with HIV and their families.
Vumani trains poor people living with HIV in Durban, South Africa to grow their own organic vegetables
as part of a continuum of HIV treatment, care and support services.
